Lead abatement and coating of 300' (running) SO2 stack
A customer contacted us about re-coating a steel stack in a residential neighborhood that was coated in lead paint. Containment of the lead paint would be an issue but so would the location not only was the active stack emitting SO2 (acid) gas during the project - this city averaged 27 mph winds during the month long project. The wind was so disruptive that all aspects of the project were slowed... from installing the containment system to the safety of the workers, everything had to be checked and rechecked!
